BMD Design established in 2001. The clanking of machines can be heard, as the smell of gasoline penetrates our nostrils. Letters dance and stretch, drawn by expert hands that sip on black or blue ink. BMD's work projects us into an authentic, yet resolutely modern universe. However, behind these three letters lies Bruno, who founded his studio in the early 2001s. Trained as a graphic designer in the early 1990s at the Jolimont high school in Toulouse, Bruno has maintained his love for the artisanal approach before the computer. Despite the extra time it takes, working manually allows Bruno to become fully immersed in the creative process, stimulating all his senses. Handmade work is experiencing a resurgence,
with many brands embracing its values of authenticity, know-how, and a return to roots. In a society marked by individualism and frantic rhythms, craftsmanship instills reassurance and security.
