As a lifelong surfer, diver, and fisherman, Mike Golder is committed to pursuing his outdoor passions while creating unique apparel and products that embody the beauty of the oceans that surround us. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Mike has spent his life in and around the ocean—surfing, diving, fishing, and soaking in the rugged beauty of California’s coastline.

With a background in graphic design and a full-time job as a firefighter, Mike poured his energy into building Kalletka from the ground up. He’s never been one to follow trends or cut corners. Instead, he’s focused on creating gear that feels right—comfortable, durable, and built to last.

"I want people to put on our shirts and not want to take it off. None of those scratchy, awkward shrinking, short and wide boxed-out types of shirts. I love to hear when people tell me they routinely hunt through their clean laundry to find their favorite Kalletka shirts."

Mike stays true to the roots of his craft and his community, keeping Kalletka grounded in "The Humble Pursuit".
